Dad started me with sandpaper, a hoover and a lot of sweat — that's where every transformation really begins. The brush and roller came later. All these years on, I still can't match his work rate.
We're a proper family firm. My dad's been self-employed since I was born — I've been on the tools beside him since 2008.
He taught me the hard way: sandpaper, graft and a hoover long before I was let near a brush. Took me years just to learn to cut in. Truth be told, I still can't keep up with him.
Bit by bit we've built a real business around it — the sanders and dust extraction, the scaffolding, fresh dustsheets, the vans. Everything we need to do the job properly.
